Museo Marino Marini - Playable
Museums have been a destination of mankind for a long time. They often are visited for their architectural presence or the artifacts they house. Normally, we walk through them following a predetermined path, but what if museums didn’t have to be a destination? What if they were integrated into our daily paths?
Reimagining Museums
That is exactly what we think of the future of museums, and that is what we've tried to design. Instead of confining museums to buildings, we propose integrating them into the city, making exhibits mobile and accessible. By removing traditional walls, we allow museums to become part of the urban fabric.
These objects, designed as 9x9 cubes, can reshape themselves to fit various urban contexts—sitting on the ground or attaching to buildings as self-governing cells. This concept allows a single museum to exist in multiple cities, making Florence's heritage accessible in places like Tehran, Tokyo, or Paris.
